Change Derby's Future: Derby Liberal Democrats Launch Their Manfiesto

April 13, 2019 9:00 AM

Derby Liberal Democrats have today launched their manifesto for the 2019 elections to Derby City Council.

It outlines a comprehensive series of pledges to help the whole of Derby and to work with local people to deliver a cleaner, greener, fairer and more prosperous Derby for everyone.

Derby Liberal Democrats leader Cllr Ruth Skelton said "I'm proud of what we've been able to achieve for Derby residents in recent years. And I'm proud of the year-round work the Lib Dem team do supporting local people - not just turning up once a year to ask for your vote. And since Labour lost control of the Council, we've been able to achieve more by parties working together than the previous administration did by ignoring whole communities. But Liberal Democrats can do so much more for you with more councillors. Holding the Council to account for its failures, and listening to local communities to help make Derby the best city it can be.

"Every Liberal Democrat Councillor elected helps us to do more, for you and for Derby. Please give us your support on May 2nd."
