Deena Smith launches massive crime survey

September 28, 2009 10:55 AM

Deena Smith, Lib Dem candidate for Allestree, has launched a survey across Allestree to gauge public attitudes to crime.

Deena said "When I've been knocking on doors in Allestree a number of people expressed concerns about crime and antisocial behaviour. I therefore decided to run a survey across the area to see how the public felt about it.

"I will be publishing the results of the survey and sending copies to respondents and the police."

The survey is currently being distributed by volunteers across Allestree.

The Liberal Democrats want to put 10,000 more police officers on the country's streets to help tackle crime and anti-social behaviour.
